Travel Surgical Tech in Denver, CO

A Travel Surgical Technologist will assist with elective operating room cases in an acute care hospital in Denver, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The unit has 23 ORs and uses Meditech and CPN for charting. It handles orthopedic, spine, general, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology cases in a teamwork-focused environment.

• Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for elective procedures
• Set up instruments, supplies, and surgical equipment for cases
• Assist the surgical team during orthopedic, spine, general, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and support safe patient care in the OR
• Pass instruments and respond to procedural needs during surgery
• Break down rooms and restock supplies between cases

• 6 months current acute care surgical technologist experience
• NBSTA certification
• DORA certification
• BLS certification

• Orthopedic and spine case experience
• Cardiovascular case experience
