Travel Surgical Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel Surgical Technologist will assist in the operating room on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. Cerner is used for documentation, and the work supports a broad range of surgical service lines.

• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments
• Assist the surgical team during general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic, urology, burn and trauma cases
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Pass instruments and supplies as needed during surgery
• Support room turnover and case setup for variable procedures
• Document case details in the charting system

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
• Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines
• Experience with general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic, urology, burn and trauma procedures
• Strong sterile technique and intraoperative support skills
