Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Farmington, CT

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician will decontaminate, process, assemble, sterilize, and store surgical instrumentation in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The role supports a central sterile supply unit and uses EPIC.

• Decontaminate and clean surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Assemble, package, and sterilize instrument sets
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and completeness
• Store and distribute sterile supplies and equipment
• Assemble case carts for surgical procedures
• Operate washer and sterilization equipment safely

• 4-5 years of hospital sterile processing experience
• CRCST or CBSPD certification
• Strong instrument identification skills
• Ability to work while standing
• Experience with sterilization, decontamination, assembly, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment
