Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Centralia, WA

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician will support decontamination, assembly, and sterilization workflows in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Centralia, Washington. The unit serves surgical services with a broad mix of specialty trays and scopes. Cleaning and sterilization systems are used to process instruments and equipment.

• Decontaminate and clean surgical instruments, trays, and scopes
• Inspect, assemble, and organize instrument sets
• Wrap, label, and prepare loads for sterilization
• Operate washers, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilizers
• Monitor biological and chemical indicators and record results
• Follow preference cards and support case cart preparation

• CRCST or CBSPD certification
• 1 year of sterile processing experience
• Acute hospital operating room experience
• Community hospital experience
• Aseptic technique and instrument processing skills

• Ambulatory surgery center experience
• Endoscopy instrument processing
• Cleaning crash carts, IV pumps, and PCA pumps
• Trauma Level II experience
