Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Spokane, WA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in an acute care hospital in Spokane, Washington on a 13-week contract. The role supports a teaching, Level II trauma and pediatric trauma setting, uses Epic, and serves patients across the lifespan.

• Provide respiratory treatments and medication delivery
• Assist with airway management, extubation, and suctioning
• Monitor ABGs, ventilation, and oxygenation status
• Support BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilator care
• Respond to emergency department, code, and rapid response needs
• Perform tracheostomy care, pulmonary hygiene, and sputum collection

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Washington state license
• BLS
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• ABG interpretation, aerosol setup, airway placement, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and pulmonary hygiene
• Noninvasive ventilation, extubation support, and respiratory medication administration

• ACLS and PALS
• Emergency department, trauma, and rapid response experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Teaching hospital, Level I trauma, and pediatric experience
