Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Spokane, WA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit serves pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a teaching, Level II trauma setting with Epic charting.

• Deliver respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy
• Assist with airway management, tracheostomy care, and suctioning
• Support ER and rapid response care
• Obtain and interpret ABGs
• Set up and monitor aerosol and noninvasive ventilation support
• Perform pulmonary hygiene and sputum collection

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Washington respiratory therapy license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Airway management, suctioning, and tracheostomy care skills
• ABG interpretation skills

• ACLS and PALS
• Pediatric and adolescent care experience
• Emergency department, trauma, and rapid response experience
• Ventilator weaning and high-pressure alarm troubleshooting
