Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit serves infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and is part of a regional trauma center.

• Evaluate patients and apply RCP protocols
• Manage oxygen therapy, inhaled treatments, and noninvasive ventilation
• Assist with airway management, bronchoscopy, and intubation support
• Collect and interpret ABGs
• Perform suctioning, tracheostomy care, and pulmonary hygiene
• Support mechanical ventilation, weaning, and alarm troubleshooting
• Prepare patients for transport and respond to respiratory needs across age groups

• Active California Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
• 2 years of adult critical care respiratory therapy experience
• Community hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Respiratory therapy skills in ABGs, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and ventilator management

• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I or II experience
• Pediatric and neonatal respiratory care
• High-risk delivery support
• Transport experience
