Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Saint Petersburg, FL

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The unit uses Meditech and supports ventilator care with PB 840 and PB 980 ventilators.

• Assess patients and deliver ordered respiratory therapies
• Manage ventilator support and monitor patient response
• Assist with airway procedures and emergency respiratory care
• Perform arterial blood gas collection and related monitoring
• Set up, check, and maintain respiratory equipment
• Document care and collaborate with the care team

• Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• 2 years of acute care experience
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Intubation assistance
• A-line insertion experience
