Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Portland, OR

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will support neonatal and critical care respiratory care in an acute care hospital NICU unit on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit serves neonates, adults, and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and works at a 1:15 ratio.

• Deliver respiratory therapy for neonates, adults, and geriatrics
• Assist with intubation, extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Manage HFNC, CPAP, BiPAP, ventilator support, and oxygen delivery
• Draw arterial blood gases and perform arterial punctures
• Support neonatal transports, high-risk deliveries, and rapid response needs
• Troubleshoot airway alarms and monitor patient response to therapy

• Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 2 years of critical care and NICU experience

• ARDS management
• Bronchoscopy support
• Inhaled nitric oxide
• Transport experience
