A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The respiratory therapy unit supports patients who need airway and ventilatory support and uses standard monitoring and respiratory equipment.

• Assess respiratory status and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer oxygen therapy and aerosol treatments
• Manage ventilator support and weaning plans
• Perform arterial blood gas collection and review results with the care team
• Assist with airway management, suctioning and chest physiotherapy
• Document care and communicate findings with the team

• Iowa respiratory therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
