Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Mason City, IA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in an acute care hospital respiratory therapy unit on a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The role supports adult patients with routine monitoring, breathing treatments, and ventilator support in a hospital setting.

• Assess patient respiratory status and document changes
• Deliver prescribed breathing treatments and oxygen therapy
• Monitor ventilator support and adjust to orders
• Collect blood gas and therapy data
• Assist with airway management and emergency response
• Educate patients and families on therapy use

• Iowa Respiratory Therapist license
• BLS and ACLS
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Strong patient assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
