Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Davenport, IA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in the pulmonary services unit on a 13-week contract in Davenport, Iowa. The role supports patients needing oxygen therapy, airway support, and pulmonary monitoring in a hospital setting.

• Assess respiratory status and monitor patient response to therapy
• Administer oxygen, inhaled medications, and other ordered respiratory treatments
• Assist with ventilator setup, monitoring, and ongoing support
• Perform airway management support and suctioning as needed
• Collect and analyze blood gas samples and report changes in condition
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment use
• Clean, assemble, and maintain respiratory equipment and supplies

• Current Iowa respiratory therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
