Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide high-acuity care in an acute care hospital respiratory therapy unit for a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit cares for neonates through geriatrics, uses Cerner, and serves PICU, NICU, CCU, and trauma patients.

• Deliver respiratory treatments across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage oxygen delivery, aerosol therapies, and ventilator support
• Assist with intubation, extubation, and bronchoscopy support
• Collect arterial blood gases and monitor ABG results
• Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway maintenance
• Respond to high-acuity respiratory distress and emergency needs

• Alaska Respiratory Therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• 4 years of respiratory therapy experience, including PICU and trauma level II care
• Cerner charting system experience

• Basic EKG
• Capillary blood gases
