Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in an acute care hospital in Anchorage, Alaska on a 13-week contract. The role supports neonates through geriatrics in PICU, NICU, CCU, and emergency settings, with Cerner charting, Magnet status, and level II trauma exposure.

• Provide respiratory care across critical care, pediatric, and adult patient populations
• Manage ventilatory support, high-flow oxygen therapy, and noninvasive ventilation
• Perform airway treatments, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and aerosol therapy
• Assist with ABGs, intubation support, extubation, and transport as needed
• Monitor patients with high acuity respiratory conditions and adjust therapy based on response
• Support emergency and delivery room respiratory needs within scope

• Alaska respiratory therapist license prior to start
• Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist credential
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
• 4 years of respiratory therapy experience
• PICU experience
• Cerner charting system experience

• Basic EKG
• Capillary blood gases
• Cystic fibrosis care
• Ketamine and theophylline exposure
