Travel RDCD Dietician in El Paso, TX

A Travel Clinical Dietitian Registered Dietitian will provide nutrition care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in El Paso, Texas. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, with an average workload of 10-15 patients per day and Meditech charting. The role supports nutrition-focused physical exams and collaborative recommendations across the care team.

• Assess adult and geriatric patients for nutrition needs
• Perform nutrition-focused physical exams
• Recommend oral supplements and diet changes
• Modify enteral nutrition orders after the initial provider order
• Document nutrition plans and updates in Meditech
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, diabetes educators, and case managers
• Communicate nutrition recommendations for timely implementation

• Registered Dietitian credential
• Licensed Dietitian in Texas
• Critical care experience
• Adult and geriatric nutrition experience
• Graduation from an accredited dietetics program
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
