Travel RDCD Dietician in Cypress, TX

A Travel Registered Dietitian will provide nutrition screening, assessment, and care planning in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Cypress, Texas. The unit uses Meditech Expanse and supports about 1:75 patient ratios with a small dietitian team.

• Screen patients for nutrition risk and complete timely assessments
• Perform nutrition-focused physical exams for patients at nutritional risk
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans and monitor response to therapy
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Evaluate age-specific, developmental, and disease-specific nutrition needs
• Apply evidence-based nutrition guidelines and department protocols

• Registered Dietitian credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Texas Dietitian license
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or equivalent
• Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program

• Two or more years of hospital clinical nutrition experience
• Experience with nutrition support
