Travel RDCD Dietician in Houston, TX

A Travel Registered Dietitian will provide nutrition care in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Houston, Texas. The role supports Food and Nutrition Services with nutrition screening, assessments, and reassessments, using Expanse and HealthTouch POS. The caseload varies with acuity and census, and interdisciplinary collaboration is central to the role.

• Perform nutrition screenings, assessments, and reassessments
• Complete nutrition-focused physical examinations
• Develop nutrition care plans using Medical Nutrition Therapy and the Nutrition Care Process
• Document findings, interventions, and progress in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic diets and nutrition goals
• Monitor patient response and update plans as needs change

• Registered Dietitian credential through CDR
• Texas Licensed Dietitian license
• Knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy and the Nutrition Care Process
• Electronic medical record and clinical documentation proficiency
• Interdisciplinary communication and collaboration skills

• 1 to 2 years of clinical dietitian experience
• Master's degree or higher
