Travel RDCD Dietician in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will support nutrition care in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit serves neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, and uses Epic charting in a Magnet level II trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess nutrition status and complete reassessments
• Develop nutrition care plans for enteral and parenteral support
• Complete calorie counts and monitor intake and output
• Perform nutrition-focused physical exams and document findings
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic diets
• Collaborate with the care team on aspiration safety and diet orders

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential
• 2 years of clinical nutrition experience in short term acute care
• Nutrition assessments, reassessments, and NFPE skills
• Enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition knowledge

• Pediatric nutrition experience
• Adult and pediatric clinical experience
• Epic charting system experience
• 3+ years of clinical nutrition experience
