Travel RDCD Dietician in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Registered Dietitian will support nutrition services in an acute hospital in Anchorage, Alaska on a 26-week contract. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics and uses Epic charting in a Magnet, Level II trauma hospital.

• Complete nutrition assessments and reassessments
• Perform NFPE, calorie counts, intake and output, and fluid balance monitoring
• Plan and adjust enteral and parenteral nutrition support
• Apply dietary guidelines and therapeutic diet orders to care plans
• Monitor aspiration safety, fluid and electrolyte needs, and nutrition tolerance
• Collaborate with the care team on nutrition education and discharge planning

• Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential
• 2 years of short term acute care dietitian experience
• Enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition knowledge
• Nutrition assessments and reassessments, NFPE, calorie counts, fluid balance, intake and output, aspiration safety

• Pediatric dietitian experience
• Adult and pediatric clinical experience
• Epic charting system experience
• 3 years of clinical dietitian experience
