Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in a hospital progressive care unit on a 13-week contract in Dallas, Texas. The 24-bed unit uses Meditech and cares for cardiac and post-surgical patients with 1:3 ratios.

• Monitor telemetry and assess changing cardiac status
• Manage IV cardiac drips and respond to rhythm changes
• Coordinate care for post-cardiac and vascular surgical patients
• Support bedside procedures and pre and post cath lab care
• Document assessments and treatments in the electronic chart
• Communicate changes with the interdisciplinary team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Cardiac drip management knowledge
• Progressive care nursing experience

• 6 months of progressive care unit experience
• Strong communication with patients and the interdisciplinary team
