Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Cumming, GA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for step-down and intermediate patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Cumming, Georgia. The unit serves patients who need close observation and higher-acuity monitoring.

• Monitor progressive care patients and respond to changes in condition
• Assess vital signs, cardiac rhythms and other clinical data
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Document nursing findings and update care plans
• Support admissions, transfers and discharge planning

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and NIH certification
• 2 years of progressive care experience
• Step-down or intermediate care experience
• Strong assessment, cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills
