Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Cumming, GA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in an acute care hospital on a 16-week contract in Cumming, Georgia. The unit supports adults who need close monitoring and coordinated step-down care.

• Monitor progressive care patients for changes in acuity and condition
• Administer medications and coordinate ordered treatments
• Assess cardiac rhythm, respiratory status, and response to therapy
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on plan updates
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and bedside procedures
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge education

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification
• 2 years of progressive care experience
• Strong telemetry, assessment, and critical thinking skills
