Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Arlington, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for cardiac and vascular patients in a heart and vascular unit on a 13-week contract in Arlington, Texas. The unit has 31 beds and a 1:4 patient ratio. Nurses support cardiac monitoring and vascular procedures in a high-acuity setting.

• Monitor cardiac and vascular patients
• Assess rhythm changes and report concerns
• Assist with EKGs and pacemaker interrogation
• Support arterial sheath removal and monitoring
• Maintain cardiac drips and related infusions
• Coordinate care with the treatment team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Critical care skill set for post-cath management
