Travel Pre-Op RN in Webster, TX

A Travel Cardiovascular Pre-Op Registered Nurse will care for patients preparing for cardiac and procedural lab care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Webster, Texas. The 17-bed unit uses Meditech, serves a 3:1 patient ratio, and relies on dash monitors and EKG machines in a close-knit team setting.

• Prepare patients for cath lab, CVOR, and EP lab procedures
• Recover patients from moderate sedation after lab procedures
• Perform IV access and support cardiac monitoring
• Assess patients before procedures and verify readiness
• Document care in the electronic charting system
• Coordinate care with procedural teams

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• IV access and cardiac monitoring skills

• Previous pre-op experience
• PACU or prep and recovery experience
