Travel Pre-Op RN in Edmonds, WA

A Travel Pre-Operative Registered Nurse will provide pre-op and phase II recovery care in an acute care hospital ambulatory surgery unit on a 13-week contract in Edmonds, Washington. First-time travelers are welcome, and the role supports same-day surgical care across multiple specialties.

• Perform pre-op assessments and review history and physical information
• Educate patients on procedures, medications, and discharge instructions
• Prepare patients for surgery with medication reconciliation and consent review
• Monitor recovery patients after anesthesia, conscious sedation, and MAC
• Assess pain, cardiac rhythm, and patient response to treatment
• Support admitting, pre-op, and phase II recovery care

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 1 year of nursing experience
• Pre-op, ambulatory surgery, pre-post, or inpatient nursing experience
• Skills in dysrhythmia recognition, medication reconciliation, discharge teaching, and recovery care

• Admitting and phase II recovery experience
