Travel PICU RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital pediatric intensive care unit for a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The unit serves infants, children, and adolescents, averages 4 patients daily, and uses Epic.

• Monitor and stabilize critically ill pediatric patients
• Manage ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and tracheostomy support
• Assist with chest tubes, drains, and wound care
• Administer blood products, IV therapy, and central line care
• Support procedural sedation and rapid sequence intubation
• Track CVP, obtain 12-lead EKGs, and document care

• Washington Registered Nurse license or active compact license
• BLS and PALS
• 2 years of pediatric critical care experience
• Pediatric dosage calculations
• PICU skills with ventilator, tracheostomy, chest tube, central line, and blood product care

• NRP
• CRRT
• Previous charge experience
• Epic charting system experience
