Travel PICU RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill children in a pediatric intensive care unit in Denver, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The 20-bed unit uses Meditech charting and typical ratios are 1:2 or 1:1. The team manages advanced monitoring, IV infusions, and complex respiratory support in a high-acuity hospital setting.

• Monitor critically ill pediatric patients and respond to changing conditions
• Assist with conscious sedation and related bedside procedures
• Support care for respiratory failure, including ETT and HFOV
• Maintain central lines and other invasive access devices
• Administer and titrate IV medications and infusions as ordered
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team for complex ICU needs

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS certifications
• Minimum 1 year current PICU Registered Nurse experience
• Strong pediatric critical care skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Post-op cardiac experience
• Venous puncture skills
