Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Kerrville, TX

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will provide rehabilitative care in a long-term care setting on a 13-week contract in Kerrville, Texas. The role supports patients with physical functioning disorders and uses an electronic documentation system under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

• Provide skilled rehabilitation treatment under Physical Therapist supervision
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate treatment updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document treatment minutes and required patient records in the electronic system
• Support discharge planning and communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and the care team
• Participate in care conferences, meetings, and required in-services
• Assist with DME and supplies as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license
