Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Houston, TX

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will provide rehabilitative care in a nursing home physical therapy unit on a 13-week contract in Houston, Texas. The role supports patients with physical functioning disorders under the direction of a Physical Therapist and documents care in an electronic record.

• Deliver skilled rehabilitative treatment under Physical Therapist supervision
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercise, and modalities
• Use supportive and assistive devices as part of the care plan
• Monitor patient progress and report treatment response to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document care accurately in the electronic record
• Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and the care team
• Participate in care conferences and discharge planning

• Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license
