Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Anaconda, MT

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will support a varied therapy caseload in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Anaconda, Montana. The role includes outpatient, acute, skilled nursing therapy, and home health settings.

• Support therapeutic exercise and mobility programs
• Assist with patient transfers, gait training, and functional activity practice
• Monitor patient response and report changes to the therapist
• Document treatment progress and session outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home exercise and safe mobility
• Coordinate care across outpatient, acute, skilled nursing therapy, and home health settings

• Active Montana Physical Therapist Assistant license
• BLS/BCLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Two years of experience in acute and long term care settings
