Travel Physical Therapist in Petaluma, CA

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Petaluma, California. The caseload centers on adult med surg and hospitalist referrals, with some outpatient overlap. Epic charting is used.

• Evaluate adult patients and develop physical therapy plans of care
• Treat mobility, gait, transfer, balance, and strengthening needs
• Train patients and families on home exercise and safe assistive device use
• Reassess progress and adjust treatment goals
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the care team
• Support discharge planning and patient education

• California Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
• 2 years of inpatient and outpatient adult physical therapy experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program

• Community hospital experience
• Cardiopulmonary caseload experience
• Orthopedic and neurologic caseload experience
