Travel Physical Therapist in Mission Viejo, CA

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide inpatient acute care therapy in a hospital in Mission Viejo, California on a 13-week contract. It is a trauma level II setting with stroke care and Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate patient mobility, strength, balance, and functional status
• Develop and update treatment plans for acute care patients
• Provide gait training, transfer training, and therapeutic exercise
• Collaborate with the care team on discharge planning and goals
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in Epic
• Educate patients and families on mobility and recovery needs

• California Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience

• Trauma experience
