Travel Physical Therapist in Laurinburg, NC

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide split inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation care in an acute care hospital in Laurinburg, North Carolina for a 13 week contract. The caseload includes orthopedic, neuro, geriatric, post-surgical, cardiac, and chronic condition patients, with Epic charting and first time travelers welcome.

• Evaluate patient mobility, strength, and functional status
• Develop and update individualized plans of care
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and transfer instruction
• Apply assistive devices and safe mobility techniques
• Reassess progress and adjust treatment goals
• Educate patients and coordinate discharge planning
• Document treatment progress and collaborate with the care team

• North Carolina Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of physical therapy experience

• Epic charting system experience
• Acute care hospital experience
• Orthopedic and neuro rehabilitation experience
• Geriatric and post-surgical rehabilitation experience
