Travel Physical Therapist in Hot Springs, SD

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitation care for patients of all ages in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Hot Springs, South Dakota. The role supports recovery from developmental deficits, injury, and illness through individualized therapy and treatment planning.

• Coordinate direct therapeutic care and rehabilitation services
• Develop and revise plans of care based on assessment findings, physician orders, and patient goals
• Apply or monitor therapeutic modalities such as heat, water, and electrical stimulation
• Teach rehabilitation skills to patients and caregivers to support independence and safety
• Document skilled care accurately and maintain confidentiality
• Communicate clinical findings and changes to the care team
• Supervise therapy assistants and aides as applicable

• Active South Dakota Physical Therapist license
• ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience
