Travel Physical Therapist in Highlands, NC

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide therapy for acute, swing bed, and long-term care patients in a hospital on a 13 week contract in Highlands, North Carolina. Documentation uses Cerner and NetHealth, and care includes rehab gym and bedside treatment in a rehab-focused setting. Stroke-certified services and a collaborative team support patient recovery.

• Evaluate patients and establish plans of care
• Deliver therapy to support mobility and functional recovery
• Assist with rounds and care conferences
• Document patient progress and discharge needs
• Communicate with the rehab team about equipment and goals
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient response

• North Carolina Physical Therapist license
• CPR certification
• Experience in hospital or nursing home settings
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program

• 3 or more years of medical setting experience
