Travel PACU RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide recovery care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit cares for PACU patients with close monitoring for ICU-level instability and pediatric recovery needs. Meditech charting supports care at the bedside.

• Monitor post anesthesia recovery, airway status, pain, and neurologic changes
• Support ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Assist with drip titration and recovery medications
• Set up PCA pumps and verify safe function
• Assist with arterial line blood draws and specimen handling
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech
• Coordinate care with anesthesia, surgery, and critical care teams

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• ACLS
• PALS
• Strong neuro assessment skills
• Ventilator competency

• ICU or PACU background
• Drip titration experience
• Neurosurgery exposure
