Travel Orthopedics RN in Mason City, IA

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will provide direct orthopedic nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The unit supports inpatient orthopedic care and calls for strong assessment, documentation, and patient teaching skills.

• Assess orthopedic patients and track neurovascular status
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Monitor recovery from surgery and injury
• Assist with mobility, safety, and fall prevention
• Collaborate with providers on care plans
• Teach patients and families about recovery and discharge
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Orthopedic and acute care nursing skills

• TNCC certification
