Travel OR Scrub RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will scrub and assist in surgical cases in a short term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. The unit handles general, orthopedic, thoracic, urology, ENT, trauma, and laparoscopic procedures and uses Epic charting.

• Scrub and assist during general, orthopedic, thoracic, urology, ENT, trauma, and laparoscopic cases
• Maintain a sterile field and support universal protocol time outs
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and room setup for each procedure
• Handle specimens, labeling, and wound management during surgery
• Support blood products, cell saver use, and laser and radiation safety
• Assist with electrosurgical units and other operating room equipment
• Communicate with surgeons and the care team throughout the case

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 1 year of operating room scrub experience
• Community hospital experience
• Trauma Level II experience

• Pediatric general operating room experience
• Trauma case experience
• Epic charting system experience
