Travel OR Scrub RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide scrub support in a children's hospital operating room for a 12-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. It serves neonates through adults in a Level I pediatric trauma center and uses Cerner charting for complex specialty cases. The unit handles advanced trauma and neurosurgery across a broad pediatric population.

• Maintain the sterile field and prepare the operating room for each case
• Scrub and assist during general, ENT, plastic, urology and laparoscopic procedures
• Support trauma and neurosurgery cases across pediatric and adult patients
• Set up instruments, supplies and specialty equipment for complex surgery
• Anticipate surgeon needs and coordinate with the surgical team
• Assist with specimen handling, counts and case turnover

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 3 years of operating room scrub experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Pediatric operating room experience
• Prior travel experience

• Cerner charting system experience
• Free-standing pediatric hospital experience
• Advanced neurosurgery and spine case experience
