Travel OR RN in Sterling, VA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will assist with orthopedic surgery cases in a surgery center setting on an 8-week contract in Sterling, Virginia. The unit includes 2 operating rooms, 1:1 staffing, and paper charting. Cases include total joints, sports medicine, spine, podiatry, and hand procedures.

• Circulate and scrub orthopedic cases in the operating room
• Assist with total joint, sports medicine, spine, podiatry, and hand procedures
• Prepare the room, instruments, and supplies for each case
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures
• Document intraoperative care using paper charting
• Coordinate with the surgical team during case turnover and patient flow

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• 1-2 years of operating room experience
• 1-2 years of orthopedic spine experience
• Orthopedic total joint, sports medicine, podiatry, and hand case experience
