Travel OR RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support circulating in the operating room for a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit is a 24-bed, high-acuity teaching hospital with Cerner charting and an average census of 70-80, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Circulate complex surgical cases across general, orthopedic, robotic and specialty procedures
• Prepare the operating room and maintain sterile technique
• Assist with universal time-outs, counts and specimen handling
• Support patient safety, blood products and cell saver use
• Coordinate intraoperative flow and communication with the surgical team
• Help with charge duties when assigned within scope

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 3 years of recent operating room experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Teaching hospital experience

• Previous charge experience
• Scrub experience
• Experience with endoscopic sinus, vascular bypass and microvascular cases
• Laser, radiation and fire safety protocol experience
