Travel OR RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support abdominal transplant surgery in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients undergoing kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal or multi-visceral transplants, with Cerner charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the operating room for abdominal transplant cases
• Assist during kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and support universal protocol
• Coordinate specimen handling and safety checks
• Support cell saver use and other intraoperative needs
• Help with general OR cases across multiple specialties

• Indiana Registered Nurse license, temporary Indiana license, or compact license at start
• BLS certification
• 2 years of strong operating room experience with transplant cases
• Cerner charting system experience

• Robotic transplant and gastrointestinal surgery experience
• Organ donation experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I experience
