Travel OR RN in Glens Falls, NY

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide perioperative care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Glens Falls, New York. The unit serves pediatric and adult patients in 14 operating rooms with EPIC charting. Coverage includes labor and delivery support for C-sections and multiple surgical specialties.

• Assess patients before surgery and prepare them for the operating room
• Circulate during surgical procedures and support sterile technique
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
• Support pediatric and adult surgical patients throughout the perioperative course
• Provide patient education and reinforce post-operative instructions

• New York Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
• EPIC charting experience
• Operating room Registered Nurse experience
• Strong vascular surgery and orthopedic surgery skills
