About this job

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support circulating care in an acute care hospital operating room on a 16-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The unit handles ortho, spine, and neuro cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Circulate orthopedic, spine, and neuro procedures
  • Prepare the operating room and support case readiness
  • Maintain sterile technique and patient safety during surgery
  • Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesia staff
  • Document intraoperative care and case details
  • Assist with turnover and supply readiness

Qualifications

  • Active Connecticut Registered Nurse license
  • 4-5 years of OR Registered Nurse or combined operating room experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • NIH Stroke Scale
  • Circulating experience with ortho, spine, and neuro cases
