A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide coordinated nursing care in an acute care hospital in Bakersfield, California on a 13-week contract. The role supports surgical care, collaborates with the care team, and uses critical thinking and independent judgment.

• Prepare the operating room for surgical cases
• Assist the surgical team with perioperative nursing care
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia, and other disciplines
• Document nursing care and patient responses
• Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff as needed

• California Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Perioperative nursing skills
• Assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
