Travel OR Circulate RN in Pratt, KS

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will circulate in an acute care hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Pratt, Kansas. The unit has 5 rooms, sees about 12 cases a day, and cares for adolescents, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

• Circulate for orthopedic, general, cesarean, gynecologic, podiatry, and endoscopy cases
• Prepare the room, equipment, and supplies for each procedure
• Verify patient identity, procedure, and surgical site with the team
• Maintain aseptic technique and support fire, laser, and radiation safety practices
• Assist with specimen handling, labeling, and blood product administration
• Coordinate care with anesthesia, surgeons, and support services during complex cases

• Active Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 3 years of operating room circulating experience
• Proficiency in ortho total joints, general surgery, and OB cesarean cases
• Charting system experience
• Core skills in fire safety, infection control, specimen handling, blood products, universal protocol, and wound management
