Travel OR Circulate RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Operating Room Circulating Registered Nurse will support surgery in a short-term acute care hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana on a 13-week contract. The unit handles adolescent, adult, and geriatric cases in general, trauma, neuro, ortho, GYN, ENT, GU, colorectal, and robotic surgery with Cerner charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Circulate during operating room procedures across general, trauma, neuro, ortho, GYN, ENT, GU, colorectal, and robotic cases
• Prepare the operating room, supplies, and sterile field for assigned cases
• Support surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists throughout procedures
• Monitor patient safety and document care in Cerner
• Assist with scrubbing as needed for assigned procedures
• Coordinate care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

• Active Indiana Registered Nurse license in hand
• BLS certification
• 3 years of operating room experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Circulating experience with general, trauma, neuro, ortho, GYN, ENT, GU, colorectal, and robotic cases

• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Scrub experience
• Cerner charting experience
