Travel Oncology RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse will provide direct care in an outpatient radiation clinic on a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit serves about 50 adult patients each day and uses Epic.

• Start peripheral IVs and venipuncture
• Educate patients on treatment plans and symptom management
• Triage patient calls and assess reported concerns
• Perform wound assessment and wound care
• Monitor medication side effects and related symptoms
• Coordinate care with support services and the care team

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 3 years of oncology Registered Nurse experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Clinical assessment skills for skin integrity, medication side effects, nutrition, and symptoms

• ACLS certification
• OCN certification
• Radiation oncology experience
• External beam radiation therapy and IGRT experience
