Travel Occupational Therapist in Seward, AK

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy in a small critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Seward, Alaska. The role covers outpatient, acute care, and long term care patients and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate patients and plan occupational therapy care
• Treat outpatient, acute care, and long term care patients
• Guide activities of daily living and feeding techniques
• Apply therapeutic modalities, edema management, and splinting interventions
• Support hand, orthopedic, prosthetic, and post fracture rehabilitation
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress in Epic
• Collaborate with the care team on goals and discharge planning

• Alaska Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification
• NBCOT certification
• 1 year of acute care occupational therapy experience
• Charting system experience
• Patient education, splinting, and therapeutic modality skills
