Travel Occupational Therapist in Seward, AK

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation across outpatient, acute care, and long term care settings on a 13-week contract in Seward, Alaska. The assignment uses Epic charting in a small critical access hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate patients and plan occupational therapy interventions
• Support activities of daily living and functional independence
• Apply therapeutic modalities, splinting, and other treatment techniques
• Treat hand, orthopedic, and post-acute rehabilitation needs
• Document patient progress and update care plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team across settings

• BLS and NBCOT certification
• Alaska Occupational Therapist license
• 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Acute care experience
• Skills in activities of daily living, biofeedback, cardiac rehabilitation, edema massage, electrical stimulation, feeding techniques, TENS, ultrasound, arthritis programs, hand injuries, fractures, prosthetics, and splinting
• Any charting system experience
